HOW TO MAKE MASCULINE PLURAL NOUNS.

1.  Inanimate nouns ending in a consonant are inflected to ..Una

EXAMPLE:
 
English..This is a big house.
                 These are big houses.
Urdu.......Yeh aik bara ghar hai.
                 Yeh bary ghar hain.
Pashto...Da yu loe kur dy.
                 Da loey kurona dee.

2.ey/ے endings become ..i/ ی

EXAMPLE:

English..Your dog is small.
                Your dogs are small.

Udru....Tumhara kutta chota hai.
              Tumharay kutty chotay hain.

Pashto..Sta spay wrokay de.
                Sta spee wara dee.

3.Animate nouns endings in a consonant are changed to ..an/ ان

EXAMPLE

English...That snake is short.
                  Those snakes are short.

   Urdu......Wo sanp chota hai.
                   Woo sanp chotay hain.
  
   Pashto...Hagha mar land de.
                    Hagha maran landi dee.

3. Inanimate nouns ending in ..U are changed into ..gan or wan

EXAMPLES

1. English.. This potato is delicious.
        These potatoes are delicious.

Urdu....Yeh alo mazedar hai.
              Yeh alo mazedar hain.

Pashto..Da alo mazedar de.
                Da alogan mazedar dee.

2. English..This squash is rotten.
               Those squashes are rotten.

Urdu....Yeh kado kharab hai.
              Yeh kado kharab hain.

Pashto..Hagha kado kharab de.
                Hagha kadoan kharab dee.
