Urdu...... Nahi, subha bus aik paratha khaya.
Pashto..Na, sehr bus yw paratha khuram.

English..Do your friends eat meat?
Urdu.......Kia ap k dost gosht khaty hain?
Pashto...Aya staso malgari gwakha khore?

English..No, they don't eat meat.
Urdu...... Nahi, woo gosht nai khaty.
pashto...Na, haghavi gwakha na khurre.

English....When do you eat food at night?
Urdu........Raat ko kis waqat rote khaty hain?
Pashto....Da shpay sa wakhat dodai khurre?

English...We eat food at eight o'clock.
Urdu.......Hum aath bajy khana khaty hain.
Pashto...Mong ata baje dodai khurro.

English...Does she never eat rice?
Urdu.......Kia woo chawal khabi nahi khate.
Pashto...Aya hagha wareze hes kala na khurri?

English....No, she only eats potatoes.
Urdu........Nahi, woo sirf alo khate hai.
Pashto....Na hagha sirf alogan
khurre.

Pashto...Hagha dero ta sa wayae?

English...What do you call their females.
Urdu......Inke mada ko tum kia kehty  ho?
Pashto..Haghe Keze ta sa waye .

English...What do you call their males?
Urdu.......Inkay nar ko tum kia kehty ho?
Pashto...Hagha nar ta sa wayae.

English...What do u call their young ones.
Urdu....... Inkay bachon ko tum  kia kehty ho?
Pashto...Hagha wrokay ta sa wayae.

English...What do you call their young males and females?
Urdu.......Inke chotay mada aur nar ko tum kia kehty ho?
Pashto...Haghy wrokae kheze ao nar ta sa wayae?

Urdu........Yeh janwar kese awaz karta hai?
Pashto....Da zanawar sanga awaz kavi?
